When there is contradiction, habit Commands

A friend of mine recently met a woman, a kind of woman he was looking for and it so happened that she was looking for him.

So,  there was mutual desire to sit down and figure out something, and this was clear to both. It occurred to him to talk to her and ask her contacts since she was with other people and heading to somewhere else, but then a voice in him said, don't ask her, and then he pursued something else.

Once again it occurred to him not to miss this opportunity and collect her contacts, but he still did not and then he preoccupied himself with something else, not much of  a significance relative to his needs or aspirations.

He remembered all this hours later.

We see here repeated actions in the past, that is the defintion of habit, override the procurement of what is desired when they can be procured.

Attempts to reverse this operative overriding command were of no use, despite repeated suggestions to take more appropriate action..

Prophets and reformers in general generally take this perspective. They learn what relevant society needs and aspires, and then they alert them whenever there is a chance to obtain them. They do this in gentle but persistent fashion.

Writing is more interesting, I note,  when there is dialectics, opposition such as thought and action, conscious and unconscious and so on.

Generally speaking, reflection on actual circumstances of life when reflected upon with detachment and pursuit of truth produces revelatory truth useful for the obtainment of relevant needs and aspirations.
