Every moment of pleasure or bliss, absolute pleasure, appears to reintroduce Adam's dilemma:
Desire to retain it. Doing so gives your opponent, in the
case of Abrahamic religions, Iblis, or Satan, or the serpent, a power to
promise something that might serve the purpose, hence the possibility of fall.
The general suggestion is don’t grasp it. Learn causes
and conditions that give raise to the pleasure, or bliss, and create those, if not
give it up. Doing neither is most promising path to hell. There is something within
you that will tell you don’t do this, your intuition or your sense, or
something along that line, act on it. If you ignore it, you will fall. Adam
knew he ought to not eat the fruit, but he did it anyway. The trail is
reincarnated now and then.
