Reflections on Final Stages of the Meditation

One then returns to the world, so that the world at this stage is fresh. It is as if one is coming here for the first time. This the author says constitutes the ninth stage.

As one returns one still remains outside the opposing world and yet lives in the world of opposition, where every one is potentially against everyone else, hence the persistent inevitability of conflict of some sort. The author says one is accepting now than ever before.
In my own experience of what appears to be post-samadhi or post-fana state, one still has to work on moment to moment basis to remain outside the oppositional world by meditating on the unified nature of existence despite individuation resulting from work of various forms.

Of course, one may become part of the opposition and participate in a conflict against others, but even then one does it while detached to the outcome and doing his or her duty, without aversion or desire of any sort, except what is commonly thought to be good or great.
